Dorothy Jean "Dot" Marcellus

Dorothy ""Dot"" Jean Jordan Marcellus, age 84, of Biloxi, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012.
Mrs. Marcellus was born in Collins, MS to Willie and Nora Mae Caraway Jordan. She was a Master Gardner and sold Avon products for many years. Before starting her family, Mrs. Marcellus worked for the Civil Service as a secretary. She was a member of Beauvoir United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Johnny Jordan and Betty Sue Sumrall.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Marcellus (Kathleen) of Biloxi, Robert Marcellus (Nancy) of Ocean Springs, Patrick Marcellus (Renee) of Gulfport; daughters, Debbie Breal of Vancleave, and Cathy Peterman (Pete) of Gulfport; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Billy Jordan, Jimmy Jordan, Suzie Gray, and Ruth Ann Jordan Free.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
