Dorothy Mansfield

Dorothy "Mrs. Dot" Mansfield, age 78, of Pass Christian, formerly of Perkinston, passed away on June 8, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Mansfield; her parents, Milton Ollie Crosby and Bessie Mize Crosby; and her brother, Milton Eugene Crosby.
She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Lynn Carter (Billy) of Gulfport, Krystal "Ginger" Brill (Benjamin) of Pass Christian; four grandchildren, Troy Philip Carter of Gulfport, Alexandra Lauren Grinnell (Zachery Langlois), of Virginia Beach, VA, Madilyn Nicole Grinnell of Pass Christian, and Joshua Benjamin Brill of Pass Christian; three sisters-in-law, Vernonia Crosby, Joyce Marie Weatherford (Bob), Marsha K. Mansfield; and her beloved boston terrier, Ritzi.
In her free time, Mrs. Dot cared for many children in the Perkinston Community and enjoyed cooking and gardening. When she lived in Perkinston, she was very involved at Perkinston Baptist Church. She was recently a member of Jacob's Well Baptist Church in Pass Christian. During the 90's she was employed with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where she worked for several years.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd. Pass Christian on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 12:30-2 PM PM. Funeral services will be at 2 PM.
