Kate Helm, age 86, of Gulfport, formerly of Jackson, passed away on December 31, 2020.
Mrs. Helm was born in Edinburg and lived in Jackson most of her life before moving to the Coast in 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Helm; parents, Truman and Lottie Hollis; her brother, James Hollis; two sisters, Marjorie Speights, and Troxie Chamblee; and grandson, Justin Still.
She is survived by children, Diane Harmon (Ray), Trichell Leach (Brenda), Greg Leach (Stacy); sisters, Mary Ellen Hugus and Sherria Wigley; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
