Dorothy Smith Hayden

Dorothy Smith Hayden, age 92 and a resident of Biloxi, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Hayden was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She received her training and obtained her Registered Nurse License from the former Kings Daughters Hospital in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Lottie Ladner Smith; her husband, Joseph Francis Hayden, Jr., and three sisters.
Mrs. Hayden is survived by her children, Dianne Hayden (Clifton R.) Antwine of Gulfport, Cynthia H. Andersen of Hammond, LA, and Joseph Francis (Linda) Hayden, III of Metairie, LA; her grandchildren, Leigh Anne (Hunter) Peak, David (Christine) Andersen, Aimee Bancroft, Jeff (Tamera) Matherne, and Daniel H. Matherne; six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Jean Hayden of Long Beach.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 12:30pm at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach is in charge of arrangements.
