Dorothy L. Greer

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Schroader Greer, 91, a resident of Brunswick, Georgia, died at her residence Friday 10/28/11.
Mrs. Greer was a native of Louisville, KY and had been a resident of Brunswick 1986. She was a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor degree in Math and English and a graduate of Tulane University with a Master degree in Education. She was employed with NASA in Langley, VA., as a mathematician for two years and then a classroom teacher for 34 years.
Mrs. Greer was listed in ""Who is Who"" in the Southeast, Personalities of the South and Int. Biography of Women.
Mrs. Greer was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA and taught Sunday school for 12 years.
Mrs. Greer enjoyed Aqua-Aerobic and surfing the Internet.
Survivors are two daughters, Judith Greer Driggers (Roger) of Brunswick and Dorothy Lee Greer Melton of Brunswick, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday 11/2/11 in the Pine Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Gibbs officiating. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS., with a Graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011.
