Dorothy Faustermann Farley, age 89, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harry (Whitey) Farley; daughter of the late John Faustermann and Angelina Rhiner Faustermann; mother of James M.Farley (Darien), Michael J.Farley, Karen Farley Melancon (Malcolm); grandmother of Justen Farley (Katy), Jordan Farley (Courtney), Penny Melancon Caballero (Paul), Eric Melancon (Meredith), Michelle Cartner (Michael), Michael Miller (Sandi), Jennifer Schell, and John Farley; great grandmother to 21 children; sister of the late George Faustermann, John Faustermann, William Faustermann, Helen Greene, Angelina Traub, and Leona Flynn; She was Aunt Dottie to many, many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to especially thank Donna Henry, Charlene Stein, Tamisa Ross and all her neighbors in Garden Isles for always sending food or helping out in any way they could.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visitation starting at 10:00a.m. On Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy, Harahan, LA. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm. Interment in St. Vincent de Paul #1 Cemetery, Soniat St.
We know that she is dancing with Dad (Whitey) to their favorite song, "I'm looking over a four leaf clover". Dance with the angels, Mom.
