Dorothy Elizabeth Ego Moore, born June 16, 1938 in Albany, New York, but a resident of Biloxi, MS, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021.
Dottie was a homemaker and severed as a loving and supportive wife to her husband Andy during his military career. She was always ready to have a good time, and was the life of the party wherever she went. She was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church where she serve in many capacities.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew “Andy” Moore; grandson, Robert “Robbie” Moore; brothers, Johnny, Chickie, and Pete.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Cathy (Jim) Vanek, Cindy (Brian) Sims, Tom (Melody) Moore; grandchildren, Scott (Tanya) Costenbader, II, Jamie Williams, Josh (Chelsea) Moore, Corey (Christina) Sims; great grandchildren, Bethany, Azlynn, Khloe, Chelsea, Alyson, McKenna, and Drew; brother, Bobby (Shirley) Ego; sister, Mary Van DerVeer; and other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00am at Heritage United Methodist Church, 4322 Popps Ferry Rd., D’Iberville, MS, with the visitation from family and friends beginning at 10:00am.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport is serving the family.
Dottier left a lasting impression on whomever she met, and will be greatly missed by so many. As a final tribute to her, we ask that you wear bright colors to honor this lady who’s philosophy was “You can never have too much Bling”.
