Dorothy "Dot" Bergeron

Dorothy (Dot) Bergeron, 98 of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at her residence.  She was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast from birth until 2012, when she then moved to Atlanta, GA, to reside next door to her daughter. Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of love and strength.

Dorothy was born on May 18, 1925, in Lyman, MS, to Austin Smith and Jameley Owen Smith. She is survived by her son, Godfred (Holly) Hennig; her daughter, Cheryl Hennig (Mark Olsen); her grand-daughter, Sarah (Allen) Kang; and her two great-grandchildren, Emilia Kang and William Kang.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2 pm until 5 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Homes- Biloxi Chapel (274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS).  Funeral Services will be at 2 pm on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Riemann Funeral Home – Biloxi Chapel (274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi) with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport, MS.
