Dorothy Muriel Harrison Dickson was born 25 November 1923 and died to live again Sunday 9 April 2017 in Gautier MS. She grew up in the Bonita community and attended public schools in Meridian. She spent much of her working career in either Gulfport or Pensacola.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Callie Belle Roberts; brothers, Charles, Cody, and Wallace Roberts; sisters, Ulma Lee Dewitt and Jean Thomas; son, Ronnie Harrison; and both husbands, Martin C. Harrison, whom she married in 1942, and Joe Sharp Dickson, whom she married in December 1978.
She is survived by: daughter, Janis H. Pinion (Charles); son, James Harrison (Ginger); brother, Kenneth Roberts; grandchildren, Gabrial Pinion (Ragan), Rachel Pinion, Joseph Harrison (Scott), Andrew Harrison and Angela Lathrop; great-grandchildren, Jacob Harrison Pinion and Natalie Merrill Harrison; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her livelihood was a rewarding career in retail sales and her passions included church and community activities including meals on wheels in Gulfport and Pensacola. Of the several churches to which she joined, Lauderdale United Methodist Church was her last membership.
Funeral arrangements are for a graveside service at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi MS, Thursday, 13 April 2017, at 10:00 A.M.
