Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth """"Dottie"""" Carhuff, age 73, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009, in Gulfport.
A native of NY, she was married to Gerald Carhuff in 1958. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed reading and going to the casinos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Frank Sheedy.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Gerald """"Jerry"""" Carhuff of Gulfport; children, Carl Carhuff of Warner Robbins, GA, Robin Jones of Charlotte, NC, Sean Carhuff of Charlotte, NC, and Trisha Carhuff of Alamogordo, NM; brothers, Frank Sheedy and his wife Jean, and Dennis Sheedy and his wife Judy; 6 grandchildren; and her beloved pets, Mollie and Kali.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49N, Gulfport, at 2p.m.
