Dorothy Bell "Dot" Price Byrd

Dot passed to her heavenly home on February 22, 2015 at the age of 82.
She was born in Jasper County Ms. She was preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Maudie Price; brothers, Reese and Hoyt Price; sisters, Jewel Stringer, Effie Watts, and Stella Ruth Presley; and her dearest friend, Helen Bryant.
She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years Reverend JT Byrd Jr; Daughters, Charlotte (Don) Herring, Wanda (Mark) Necaise and Laquido (Kerwin) Necaise; Grandchildren, Marty Grimes (Carley Dossett), Kyle (Johna) Necaise, Lacey (Drew) Osbourn and Heath Necaise; Great Grandchildren, Bailey Grimes, Levi Necaise and Alexis Grace Osbourn.
Mrs. Byrd was a member of First Baptist Church of Orange Grove. She has always been faithful to the Lord and proudly supported her husband's Ministry thru the years.
Mrs. Byrd was a very loving wife, mother (mother-in-law) grandmother and great grandmother and was always there when her family needed.
Mrs. Byrd was the Salutatorian of the 1951 Graduating Class at Broom High School, an accomplishment she always reminded her family of with a ""giggle in her voice"".
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM followed by burial at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
