Dorothy "Jean" Barefoot

Dorothy ""Jean"" Barefoot, age 78, of Gulfport passed away on January 1, 2014 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Barefoot; her parents, Archie and Marie Johnson; her brother, Donald Johnson; and her sister, Betty Barnett.
She is survived by her children, Faye King (Robert) of Gulfport, Brenda Barefoot of Gulfport, Robert Barefoot (Lana) of Schertz, TX, and Don Barefoot (Stacey) of Saucier; her brother, Vern Johnson of Columbia, MS; her eight grandchildren; and her three great grandchildren.
Jean retired from the Harrison County School System after 38 years of service. She loved quilting and sewing.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from 1:00 PM until the service. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery, Gulfport.
