Dorothy Allen

Dorothy Mae Salters Rishel Allen, age 93 of Long Beach, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2019, at home surrounded by loved ones.
Dorothy was born to Rube and Fannie Alexander Salters. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She was a faithful member of Divine Grace Baptist Church, Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Rube Salters, Jr. (Mildred); her sisters, Ruth Allen (Roy), Ann Young (Henry D.), Katherine Huffman (Gerald); her first husband, Harry Rishel; her second husband, Guy Allen; and her daughter-in-law, Elsie Rishel.
She is survived by her children, James F. Rishel and William S. Allen (Patricia); six grandsons; one granddaughter; and fifteen great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their heart felt appreciation to Deaconess Hospice for the compassionate care of their loved one.
The funeral service will held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 11, 2019, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery.
