Doris Vice

Doris Pierce Vice, age 87, of the Helena Community, died Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Helena.
She was a native of Mobile, Al and lived most of her life in Helena. She was an active member of the Helena Presbyterian Church where she served on numerous committees through the years. Mrs. Vice had a special love for children in the community and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Pharoah Willard; her parents, Clarence Vernell and Daisy Margaret Pierce; and 4 siblings: Leota Davis, Clarence V. Pierce, Jr., Jerome Pierce, and Mickey Bosc Crabtree.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Carl E. Vice, a daughter-in-law, Shirley Willard, 1 brother, Lester Pierce, all of Helena, and 1 sister, Lucretia Bonner, Mobile, 1 grandson, Barry Willard, Helena, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6 aÌ‚â‚"" 9 pm at the Helena Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday in the church sanctuary.
Interment will be in Four Mile Creek Cemetery.
