Doris Elliot Rousseau

September 20, 1930 — May 9, 2011

Doris Elliot Rousseau, born September 20, 1930, passed into our loving God's arms on May 9, 2011, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.
Dottie was the wife of the late Elmo C. Rousseau and the loving and awesome mother of Becky and Alison Rousseau. She is survived by a sister-in-law and several nieces, a nephew, and other loving family and friends.
She worked for Industry Sales, U.S. Rubber Co., All American Jeans, and Safelite Glass Co., She enjoyed her volunteer work at East Jeff General Hospital and was a parishioner of St. Angela Merici. Her great joy and pride was her athletic prowess especially her years spend as a fast pitch softball star. Her love for people, parties and dances and her uncanny sense of humor will always be remembered by those who knew her. Mom will be in our hearts...always...til the end of time.
All are invited to a mass in Dottie's honor at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Our Lady of Divine Providence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
