Doris Richmond

Doris Burdine Richmond of Biloxi, Mississippi, died on April 15, 2014.
Doris was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. She loved the arts, entertainment and she loved to dance. She was a graduate of Biloxi High School. She was retired from Gayfers Department Store at Edgewater Mall in Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mark Hannah Burdine and Odette Demoruelle Burdine of Biloxi; her beloved grandson, Gavin Scott Richmond and beloved granddaughter, Allison Claire Richmond; step grandson, Jeffrey T. Miller, and her husband, Homer Radford Richmond.
Survivors include her brother, Jerry Burdine; her sons Mark Homer Richmond and wife Traci, and Scott Burdine Richmond and wife Libby; grandchildren Markie Brooks Richmond, Reese Richmond, Ryan Jenkins and Jessica Mayer.
The family would like to thank the kind nurses and staff of Lakeview Nursing Home, Memorial Hospital, and Canon Hospice for taking such good care of Doris.
Services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME at 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
