Doris R. Lee, age 83, of Gulfport, went home to be with our loving Father on Thursday, March 11, 2010.
She was born April 25, 1926 to Stephen and IZora Sandefur in Evansville, Indiana. She was a homemaker. Granny was married to the love of her life, James for 64 years. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all those that knew her.
Granny was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Stephen and IZora; her only brother, Price Sandefur; her only sister, Wilma Drake; and her son, Donald Ray Lee, Sr.
She is survived by her only daughter, Linda Allen and her husband, John; seven grandchildren, Lee Burril, Brian Burril and his wife Connie, Don Lee, Jr. and his wife Renee, Casey Burril, Laurie Trees, Jason Lee and Anthony Allen; eleven great-grandchildren, Johnathan Lee and his wife Molly, Steven Trees, Donielle Trees, Brittany Lee, Ashley Burril, Dixie Burril, Benjamin Burril, Tiffany Cravens, Alec Sanders, Kyle Sanders and Aron Sanders; and four great-great-grandchildren, Trevor Lee, Austin Lee, Miley Lee and Tristen Gonzalez.
Friends are invited to join the Lee family for visitation Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 12 Noon until the service at 1:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The online guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
