In Loving Memory of Doris Dedeaux Heebe
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Dedeaux Heebe, wife to the late Honorable Frederick J. R. Heebe, who departed this life peacefully at her home on March 16, 2025, at the age of 92.
Doris was born on August 1, 1932, in Gulfport, Mississippi, to the late Loren and Cora Dedeaux.
She is survived by her two children, Glennda Stewart Bach (Eugene George Bach, III) and Earl Edsel Stewart Jr. (Brenda Moody Stewart). Eight grandchildren Michael Rene Bach (Carrie Daigle Bach), Dena Bach Waters (Fred Parker Waters, Jr.), Rebecca Bach Rochon (John Philip Rochon), Eugene George Bach, IV (Robyn Grussing Bach), Erica Thames Meynier (Vic Meynier), Trey Stewart, Jared Stewart and Jacob Stewart. Fourteen great-grandchildren David Joseph Main, Jr., Katherine Elizabeth Main, Samantha Perry Bach, Michael Rene Bach, Jr., John Philip Rochon, III, Philip Benjamin Rochon, Caroline Bach Rochon, Eugene George Bach, V, Henry Bach, Jaycie Parker, Ty Stewart, Tristyn Stewart, Lucas Meynier and Evan Meynier. She is preceded in death by her great-grandson, Stewart Michael Main.
Doris was blessed with two stepchildren, Fred Heebe (Jennifer Heebe) and Adrea Heebe Russo (Dominic Russo), and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Heebe Russo, Sarah, and Anna Heebe.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to those who cared for Doris in her final days, particularly Debra Owens, whose compassion and support were invaluable.
In addition to her family, Doris was known for her love of gardening, hosting parties, and her impeccable sense of style. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all who were fortunate to know her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society in the memory of Doris Dedeaux Heebe.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., with a 30 minute visitation prior, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport, MS.
