Mrs. Doris H. Fayard, age 84, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, in Long Beach.
Mrs. Fayard, affectionately known as """"Da Da"""" by family and friends, was a resident of Gulfport for over 50 years and a current resident of Long Beach. She was of the Catholic faith and loved gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Hauer, Sr.; brother, William A. Hauer, Jr.; and her son, William H. """"Billy"""" Fayard, III.
She is survived by daughter, Linda (Bill) Rivenbark of Gulfport; sister, Helen H. Fayard of Long Beach; grandsons, Michael, Shawn, and Justin Griffing, and Brad Fayard; granddaughters, Candi (John) McCracken, Mylinda Beech, and Kimberly Fayard; great grandchildren, Nikolaus, Megan, Haleigh, Jordyn, Allison, Brooklyn, and Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, from 2-3pm. A procession will leave the chapel going to Long Beach City Cemetery for a 3:15pm graveside.
