Donnie Doucet

Donnie Lee Doucet, age 63 of Crowley, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly at 9:10 AM, Sunday, August 22, 2021 from COVID.

After graduating high school, Donnie worked offshore with his father for a short time before going into an IT/Tech career, where he worked for many companies, including his final job of being a voice engineer/specialist for Uniti Fiber.  He lived in many places around the country and visited many places outside the continental U.S.

He is survived by his wife, Yanin Doucet; his children, Travis Doucet, Seth Doucet, Olivia Doucet; his four grandchildren; and his mother, Rita Doucet.

Donnie loved spending time with his kids and wife and had many hobbies, including paintball with his team, the “Regulators” and later in life, he loved to go fishing with his wife.

He was never one to shy away from those around him and would gladly give the shirt off his back for anyone who asked.  Friends and family will always remember Donnie’s stories and lessons he would always tell.  He will be forever loved and cherished by all who knew him.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, corner of Washington Ave, West Jackson County, with a visitation from 12:00 PM until the service.
