Donald ""Donnie"" Prive, age 49, of Gulfport, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at his residence.
Before his disability, Donnie worked for his brother at 3 Guys Paintin'. In spite of his disabilities, he lived life to the fullest and loved his family and friends. Donnie touched many lives with his quick wit and rock & roll comeback.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Prive; and his little sister, Theresa Prive.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Susan Prive; daughter, Ashley Prive; step-son, Paul Womack and his wife, Sarah; two grandchildren, Ty and P.J.; his mother, Dorothy Prive; three sisters, Doris Pugh, Glenda Sutphen and Sharon Bradshaw; one brother, Greg Prive; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to longtime friend and family companion, Joe Campos.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Baroudi, Dr. Payment and staff at Coast Heart, Dr. Johns and staff at PMI Clinic; and the staffs at Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph Hospice and to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Services will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00a.m.. Tributes may be offered to the family at www.riemannfamily.com. Arrangements by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Gulfport.
