Donald James Necaise

Donald James Necaise, 69, of the Dedeaux community, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mr. Necaise was born in Kiln, MS, on June 8, 1940. He was a resident of the Dedeaux community and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. He served his country in the Army National Guard with the 114th Transportation Division from Bay St. Louis, MS. He retired from Indal Aluminum in 2004 after 46 years of service.
Mr. Necaise was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Emma Necaise, two infant daughters, and one infant son.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bernice Necaise; two daughters, Bernadette Cuevas (Mike), and Michelle Necaise (Roger Abernathy); son, Donald Bradley Necaise, all of Pass Christian, MS; three sisters, Margaret Cuevas (Rufus), Barbara Ladner (J.C.), and Thelma Shiyou (Grifton); two brothers, Liston Necaise and Jerry Necaise (Dorothy); six grandchildren, Shawn Necaise (Jackie), Jeremy Necaise (Christina), Jessica Clark, Cortney Necaise, Dylan Necaise, and Michael Cuevas; five great-grandchildren, Leah Schultz, Caiden Necaise, Kayleigh Necaise, Caleb Necaise, and Jaylyn Necaise; and adopted family, Jimmy Faye and Charles Campbell and family.
Visitation will be at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road in Pass Christian, on Friday, February 19, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 20. Burial will follow in Standard Sand Hill Cemetery at Dedeaux.
