Donald G. Moseley, 74, of Diamondhead, MS and Boulder Junction, WI, formerly of Wauwatosa, WI, died Tuesday, October 28 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
Don was born in Springfield, IL and graduated from Kirkwood (MO) High School before attending DePauw University where he earned a BA in 1956.
In 1958 Don married Patsy Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Moseley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 11, 2008.
For nearly 35 years Don worked as a lighting engineer designing lighting systems for many projects in Wisconsin. In 1962 he founded Donald G. Moseley and Associates, the company which later became Spectrum Lighting.
Don was Past President of the Illuminating Engineering Society of Wisconsin. An avid golfer and fisherman, he was a member of the Boulder Junction, WI LionaÌââ¢s Club, the Trout Lake, WI Golf Club and the White Sand Lake Association. After moving to Diamondhead, Don became a member of the Diamondhead Boaters Krewe and the Krewe of Diamondhead.
Don is survived by his wife, children Jim (Rachel) Moseley of Duluth, MN and Mary Beth (Chris) Rygh of Cedar Falls, IA, and grandchildren Dan and David Moseley and Katie and Molly Rygh.
A memorial service will be held at the Diamondhead Community Church on Saturday, November 1st at 1:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.
