Donald Lee McDowell, age 74 of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
He served 4 years in the U.S. Army and 21 years in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest McDowell; his mother, Grace Osborne McDowell; his brother, Jim McDowell; his sisters, Joan Coar and Delores Coar; and his daughter, Marjorie Zecchini.
Donald is survived by his wife, Emma McDowell; his son, Donald McDowell, J.; his step children, Melandro Alina and Randy Alina; his brothers, Harold McDowell and Ernest McDowell; his grandchildren, Emma Rose McDowell, Kyle Alina, Brianna and Anthony Zecchini.
He really enjoyed spending time with his family as well as golfing and bowling.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army of Gulfport.
