Donald Marucci, Sr.

Donald Louis Marucci, Sr., 83 of Slidell, LA passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Kathleen Whan.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Morris Marucci; his children, Thomas, Donald Jr.,
Michael, Deanna, and Joseph; his 8 grandchildren, Tina, Tony, Joe, Michael,
Nick, Christina, Deanna, and William; and his 6 great-grandchildren, Noah,
Jax, Coral-Mae, Lance, Jenna, and Robert.
Mr. Marucci was born on January 20, 1935 in Washington D.C. where he lived until he enlisted in the United States Navy. Throughout his 22 year naval career, he served on various ships as a Machinist Mate 1st Class. He is a veteran of both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He finished his military career as a Recruiting Officer in Gulfport, Mississippi. He then worked as a Mechanical Planner and Estimator on the United States Navy Seabee Base. He was a past member of the Krewe of Gemini and VFW. He was an ardent bowler at USA Bowl, Slidell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 25, 2018 at
12:30 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 11:30 AM until the Mass. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
