Mr. Donald Ray Ladner, age 51, resident of Pass Christian, died on Sunday, April 3, 2011.
Mr. Ladner was born in Gulfport to Earon Paul Ladner and Merlena Nettie Cuevas Necaise. He worked for many years for H. Gordon Myrick Construction, and later owned his own construction company. He enjoyed horse racing, horse shows, and riding motorcycles.
Mr. Ladner was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Bill Necaise; sisters, Margaret Alice Ladner and Margie Stapleton.
He is survived by his two children, Venus Ladner DeLoach of D'Iberville, and Joshua Ladner (Stacey) of D'Iberville; siblings, Paul Ladner of Biloxi, Terry Ladner (Dotty) of Saucier, Lille Ladner of Kiln, Dyrene Owens (Donald) of Gulfport; 8 grandchildren, Dara, Aaden, Isaiah, Miracle, Dalton, Cole, Raelynn, and Addie; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his canine companion, Ruff.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, where friends may visit from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
