Donald "Pete" Cuevas, age 76, of Saucier, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
Mr. Cuevas was born to Weston and Emily Wedgeworth Cuevas. He worked for Harrison County for over 30 years as a heavy equipment operator.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Randall Cuevas; and his nephew, Charles Glidewell.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Charlotte Maxcy Cuevas; children, Sonya Stafford (Jerry), Charlotte Brewer (Chip), Emily Porter (Gabe), and Donald "Petie" Cuevas (Desiree); siblings, Kenneth Cuevas, Maxine Glidewell, and Opal Bradley; grandchildren, Tyler and Tabitha Rindahl, Cory Behrens, Kaitlyn Brewer, Cassandra, Zed, and Grace Porter, Chase and Brycen Cuevas; great grandchildren, Admariah and Lilley Rindahl; and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 9:00-11:00 am. A procession will leave the funeral home at 11:00 am, and graveside services will be at 11:30 am at Wedgeworth Cemetery.
