Donald Boyes, age 84, resident of Long Beach passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Gulfport.
Don was born on November 2, 1927 to Wallace and Agnes Boyes, both of which are deceased. Don was a United States Army Ranger in the 81st Airborne. He retired after 37 years of service from South Central Bell Telephone Company and was also an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jill Boyes; children, Kevin Boyes, Nancy Boyes Hill (Michael), and Tony Boyes; grandchildren, Kevin Boyes, Jr. (Jolene), Kyle Boyes, Whitney Hill, and Austin Hill; and great grandchildren, Ella Kate Boyes and Eli Kevin Boyes. He is also survived by his brother, John Boyes; and sister, Beverly Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Wallace Boyes, Jr.
The funeral services will be private for family.
