Donald Edward Anderson, age 63, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in Gulfport.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Jack H. Anderson, Sr. of Lumberton.
He is survived by his mother, Cora Edna Anderson; his wife, Patricia Leja Anderson; his daughter, Elizabeth Anderson Cowart; his son, John William Anderson; his brother, Jack Anderson, Jr. (Sandra); five grandchildren, Milli, Olivia, Mark, Jace, and Charlie Cowart.
Don was a member of the Orange Grove Masonic Lodge No. 635 F&AM and a member of Long Beach Chapter 51 Order of the Eastern Star.
Don Graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1978 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and started his career at Plant Jack Watson at Mississippi Power Company in 1978 and then moved to the Systems Operations Control Center as a Power System Coordinator until his retirement in 2016.
A visitation will be held at 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 following the visitation at the funeral home.
