Don Joseph Fallo, born June 1, 1967, passed from this mortal coil on August 4, 2022, aged 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Fallo, and his mother, Betty Fallo.
He is survived by his sister, Sherrie Fallo, and two brothers, Michael and Joseph. Born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Don was a long-time resident of the Gulf Coast, having lived in Ocean Springs, D'Iberville, and Biloxi. He passed at his residence in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Don was a graduate of Ocean Springs High School and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College – Perkinston Campus and the University of South Alabama. He served in the United States Air Force as a reservist and spent many years as a security officer in the casino industry.
Don was a skilled artist with a vivid imagination. He was a charter member of the U.S.S. Neptune, a chapter of STARFLEET - The International Star Trek Fan Association, and was a lover of all things fantasy and science fiction. He was also a member of several other fan groups and offered his time and service to a local science-fiction convention, CoastCon, every March in Biloxi.
Don touched the lives of many people and he will be remembered fondly by those who knew him. A brief graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs to be followed by a repast at the Latimer Community Center, 10908 Tucker Road, Ocean Springs.
