Doloris Jean King, age 80, of Pass Christian, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mrs. King was a resident of the coast since 1974, and a member of the Word of Hope Church. She was retired and a great fan of NASCAR.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Frank King, Jr.; her father, David Ambs; her mother Dorothy Barnes; and her son William Joseph King.
She is survived by seven children, Arthur B. King (Judy), Michael F. King (Starlett), Mark W. King, Deborah G. Lewis (Lavelle), Dottie King Moody (Jon), Frank King, III (Kathy), and Wanda G. Dye (Dwayne); three sisters, Mary T. Adams, Betty Lou Smith, and Andrea Adams; 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2009, from 6pm-8pm, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30am on Monday, October 5, 2009 for a 10am gaveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
