Dolores Moore, age 87 and a resident of Long Beach, went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 7, 2008. She was a member of Kittiwake Baptist Church where her grandson, Donald Ray Silkwood is pastor.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Moore; her two sisters, Zona Barrett, and Irene Reynolds and a grandson, Mark Jackson.
She is survived by her loving children, Mike Moore, Netta Jackson, Shirley (Ray) Silkwood, and Brenda (Herschel) Dubuisson. Eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren were blessed to be able to have called her """"Grandma"""".
Mrs. Moore was a devoted mother and grandmother to all her children and grandchildren. She made everyone in her family feel important and loved. Her quiet and gentle spirit always brought peace to those in need. She was a prayer warrior and loved the Word of God. For forty years, she was a dedicated Bible and Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Moore's unconditional love was an earthly example of Christ's love for here on earth.
Mrs. Moore's hobbies included writing poetry and painting. She was an avid reader and spent every morning reading God's Word.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Memorial Hospice and Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. Rosetta Miller, RN and Isaure Caviness, SW provided outstanding support and comfort. The family would also like to express great appreciation to Tammy Stewart for being such a compassionate and loving caregiver to their beloved family member.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1:15pm at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.

Mrs. Moore will be dearly missed, but her family and friends rejoice in knowing that she is rejoicing around the throne of Jesus.
