Dolores Cecil

Dolores Cecil, age 83, a resident of Gulfport and a native of Livingston, IL, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Cecil; her parents, Stephen and Anna Fech;  her daughter, Jodie Preusser; and brothers-in-law, Gerald Henton of Washington and Robert Bogue of Tennessee.
Dolores is survived by her children, Stephenie (Dennis) Phipps of Texas, Patricia Lacy of Arkansas, and Jeannie (Joey) Eubanks of Mississippi; siblings, Joan Henton of Washington and Lillian Bogue of Tennessee; grandchildren, Stephen Phipps and Ann Phipps both of Texas, Robert Preusser of Alaska, Valerie Grubb of Georgia, Amanda Kilcrease of Texas, Misty Bower of Arkansas, Joseph Eubanks, Julie Eubanks and Justin Eubanks all of Mississippi; great grandchildren, Kasey Phipps, Tyler Phipps, Cody Grubb, Tiffany Crowe, Savannah Bower, James Mcree, Carter Eubanks, Alyssa Preusser, Dylan Preusser, Matt Preusser, Renee Carrol, Hunter Carrol, Brody Carrol, Elaina Kilcrease, Kristin Kilcrease and Jonathan Kilcrease; and one great-great grandchild, Hayden Crowe.
She was very active in the lives of her family; running different organizations, coaching baseball, leading brownie troops, girl scouts and boy scouts. Dolores helped to raise her grandchildren and was just an all-around great person. She would be a grandmother to anyone who wanted to be a part of their family.
There will be a Visitation held on Wednesday, October 31st from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. The funeral procession will leave at 9:15 a.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Peter.
