Dixie Lee Amacker, 85, resident of Purvis and formerly of Long Beach, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010 in Purvis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Amacker; her son Donald Amacker; her granddaughter, Teresa Lemon; her brother, Ed Selph; her sister, Ellen Smith; and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Judy (Terry) Lemon, Tommy (Carolyn) Amacker, Douglas (Lynn) Amacker, Patty (Albert) Pierro, and Kathy Fedele; her brother, David (Carole) Selph; her sister-in-law, Marcelle Selph; her eight grandchildren; and her seventeen great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49 Gulfport, MS.
The funeral service will be held the following morning at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow at Juniper Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 53 Poplarville.
