Dickey Alford

Dickey Alford, age 64, passed away on Monday April 22, 2019 in Biloxi, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara Alford; and his brother, James Burton Alford III.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 43 years, Joel Alford; three children, Leighton Alford (Kylee), Andrea Clanton (Kerry), and his dog, Bailey; five grandchildren, Brently, Huntleigh, Emberlee Alford, and Landon and Natalia Clanton; one brother, David Alford (Pam); and one sister, Catherine Barton (Ron).
Dickey was a native of McComb, MS and a resident of Biloxi. He graduated from the University of New Orleans and obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting and worked as an accountant. He was a CPA and a Certified Hospitality Accountant.
His hobbies included gardening, throwing Frisbee with Bailey, fishing, and spending time with family. He was an active member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gulfport.
Dickeys passion for Saints and LSU football will continue to live through his family as he cheers from up above. Geaux Tigers! Who Dat!
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:00 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
