Dianne Carney Mozingo, age 54 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at her home in Gulfport after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Mrs. Mozingo was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and a 1974 graduate of Gulfport East High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gulfport and was employed for 26 years with Sterling Drugs in Gulfport as the Quality Assurance Coordinator.
Mrs. Mozingo is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Dan Mozingo; her sons, Trent D. Mozingo of Gulfport and Paul (Kindra) Polito of Albertville, AL; her parents, Charles E. & Margie D. Carney of Gulfport; her brother, Greg Carney of Gulfport; her stepdaughters, Kimberly Mozingo, and Tamara (Nate) Cosby all of California; her granddaughter, Carleigh Ann; her step grandchildren, Corbin, Cody, and Teagan; her father and mother-in-law, J.C. & Ethelyn Mozingo of Gulfport; her brothers-in-law, John C. (Linda) Mozingo, Jr. of Gulfport, and Dr. Ron (Estelle) Mozingo of Hattiesburg; her nieces, Angela Mozingo (Chris) Murray and their daughter, Megan of Gulfport, Mandy Mozingo (Steve) Kumpunen of San Antonio, TX, Moriah Mozingo of Nashville, TN, and Caroline Carney of Gulfport; her nephews, John C. (Mary) Mozingo, III, and their children, MaryKatherine and John IV, and Gregory Carney all of Gulfport.
A time of gathering for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010, from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
