Diane E. Tarver, 46, of Biloxi, lost her battle with Cancer on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in Biloxi, born on July 9, 1959, she fought her battle with cancer for 16 years. When she was informed she had cancer and given only six months to live, she told her doctors"""" I am not going anywhere, my children need me."""" It was not because her heart or mind wanted to give up, but her body could not go on.
Diane left behind three children; who she deeply loved, Marsha William, Sidney Tarver and Eve Tarver, all of Gulfport, six grandchildren; Corey, Austin, Hannah, Kenny, Devin and Leeland. She also left behind three sisters; Linda Farley and Irene Holley , both of Gulfport and Brinda Martin of Newman, GA., and two brothers, Kenny Smith of Columbus, MS and John Smith of Mobile, AL.,
She went to heaven to join her mother, Earline Hanson; her father, Kenneth Smith; a daughter, Tammy William and nephew, Wayne Rhodes.
She will always be very loved and missed.
Diane's wish was for her urn to be interred with her mother, father, and daughter at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS.
