DIBERVILLE

Diane Quave Parnigoni (1946-2024)

Diane Ray Quave, age 77, passed away on August 11, 2024.

Diane was a woman defined by strength, humility, and love. Her kindness, selflessness, and compassion were felt by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by many but will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Diane was born in Biloxi on October 1, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents John Durrel Quave and Ann B. Kathman Quave. She attended school at St. Teresa in D’Iberville and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Biloxi.

Diane found joy in the simple things of life. She enjoyed reading, cooking, learning history, and listening to Elvis Presley, but her greatest joy of all was family. She was a proud daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She lived her life as an example of someone we can all strive to be more alike.

Diane is survived by her sister Coleen Guardanapo, her brother John “Johnny” Quave, son Michael (Tiffany) Hodge, daughter Kristin Hodge, grandchildren Andrew (Ashlee) Hilton, Michael (Kelsi) Hodge, Mitchell Hodge, Matthew Hodge, great-grandchildren Colson Hilton, Collins Diane Hilton, Palmer Hodge, and stepdaughters Sondra Parnigoni McLeroy and Angela Parnigoni Ladner.

A special thanks to Angela Ladner, Gina Bailey, Ashlee Hilton, and Hospice of Light for the wonderful care over the past weeks.

A celebration of her special life will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 20th, at Riemann Family Funeral Home,13872 Lemoyne Boulevard West Jackson County.
