Diane Lynn Frierson

Diane Lynn Frierson, 69, of Picayune, MS passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Friday, February 14, 2025. She is now whole and resting in her forever home with her Lord and Savior. A private memorial will be held in her honor at a later date.  

She was a native of Gretna, LA, but made her home in Picayune, MS when she met the love of her life, Billy Wayne Frierson Sr. They loved and cared for each other for 53 years and had 4 beautiful children. She held positions serving her community at First National Bank, and then later, at Instant Bail Bonding where she touched an enormous amount of people’s lives giving them hope and encouragement when they felt they had none. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses where she loved and served our Lord, Jehovah, with all of her heart and mind. She was very outgoing and loved taking part in many activities; her favorites, by far, were serving Jehovah, cooking, singing, and gardening. She never met a stranger and extended her unconditional love to everyone she came into contact with. She will be forever remembered by her family and all of her loved ones for her great love, support, comfort, and prayers that she freely and selflessly gave to all! 

She was preceded in death by her loving son Billy Wayne Frierson Jr. (Kerstin); her two precious grandson’s Kyle Houston Frierson and Morgan Landry; her loving parents Levy Simon Aguilard and Katherine Mae Timmons. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Billy Wayne Frierson Sr.; her children Jeremy Dane Frierson (Melanie), Katie Nicole Frierson, and Luke Colby Frierson; multiple grandchildren including Cody Wayne Frierson (Sarah), Emily Landry, Sean Gage Glasscock, Maegan Aleese Lee, Victoria Lynn Aaron (Nick), Aidan Cole Cuevas, and Leland Taylor Frierson; and many great grandchildren; her siblings Stewart Baker O’Neal (Stephanie), Marlin Nicholas Aguilard (Sonya), Darlene Madaline Aguilard Miller (Ted), and Mark David Aguilard (Carolyn); and numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
