MSgt Dewey Norman McGahen, USAF, Ret, age 80, of Saucier, passed away on July 28, 2008 in Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn McGahen; his parents, George Dewey McGahen and Lulu Hunt McGahen; two brothers, Robert McGahen and Neil McGahen and two grandsons.
He is survived by his step daughters, Billie Lewis of Saucier and Carol Lynn KinCannon of Cleveland, Texas; a step son, Stewart Hinton and his wife, Laura, of Spring, TX; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force after twenty years as a Master Sargent. He was employed at Lockheed Martin in Houston, TX and at NASA in Slidell and later retired. He was a Past Master of J. L. Power Masonic Lodge #416, Perkinston, MS. and Past Worthy Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star #376.
The visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. A procession will leave the funeral home at 11:45 AM for burial at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors at 12:30 PM.
