Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Destiny “Laney” Ladner, unexpectedly returned to her Heavenly Father on April 16, 2022, at the age of 22. She was native to Gulfport, Mississippi, and a resident of Greenville, Mississippi.
Laney is preceded in death by her grandparents, Fritz Ladner, T.G. Blackwell, and Esther Blackwell. Laney is survived by her beloved fiancé, Kaleb Davis; parents, Davey and Wanda B. Ladner; grandparents, Sandra and Alex Ladner; brother/sister-in-law Andrew and Tina Ladner; sister/brother-in-law Bailey and Harrison Abshire; sister/brother-in-law Chloe and Christopher Guillot; nephew Mason Ladner and niece Makenna Ladner.
Laney’s caring and generous heart could be felt by anyone she encountered. She embraced life, and her free-spirited personality led her on many adventures. She enjoyed shopping, but her beautiful spirit was most at peace in nature on the water, camping, or delighting in a lovely sunset. Laney treasured her family and many friends, as she was cherished in return. With this, her final sunset, Laney will be profoundly missed. The family would like to thank everyone for the thoughtful outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
