Derek Joseph Green, age 27, of Pass Christian, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in Pass Christian.
Derek created clothing designs and accessories and he enjoyed gemology. He attended culinary school and was a tremendous chef and excellent finish carpenter. He was a nature and animal lover and he was of the Catholic faith. One of his goals was to be a volunteer firefighter. Derek was a wonderful son and brother who was, and will always be, loved greatly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clifford A. Green, Sr. and Myrl Mae Sanchez Green; maternal grandfather, George Franklin Corcoran and maternal great-grandmother, Claire Corcoran.
Survivors include his parents, Cliff and Kathy Green, Pass Christian; maternal grandmother, Elaine L. Corcoran, New Orleans, LA; 2 sisters, Desiree Green, Waveland and Michelle Green, Pass Christian; his godchild, Sophia Daigle, Waveland; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 2007 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
