Denise L. Vance, age 62 of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020.
Mrs. Vance was preceded in death by her father, Clarence S. “Biggon” Vance, Sr. ; her mother, Mary Evelyn Gorham; and her step father, Barry Gorham.
She is survived by her son, Daniel S. Vance; her stepmom, Iola Vance of Buckeye, AZ; her devoted older brother, Stanley Vance (Pam) of Saucier, MS; her caring younger brother, Sammy Vance (Terri) of Waveland, MS; her sisters, Candy Graham (Mickey) of Colmbia, MS and Selena Richardson (John) of Buckeye, AZ; and her grandchildren, Auriana E. Vance and Nora A. Vance.
Denise was a kind woman with a big heart and would often help others. Between watching Charmed and loving her grandchildren, she would find time to do word puzzles and play board games. She may not have had what could be called a hobby, but to her it was about family.
We would like to thank the emergency unit that came to help for their efforts. Most importantly we want to thank all of Denise’s friends and family for all of the support. The thought of working as a family honors her memory.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
