Denise L. Chambers, age 50 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Gulfport.
Denise had been a resident of Gulfport since 1971 and was a 1980 graduate of Harrison Central High School. She was a longtime employee of the former Best Western on Highway 90 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Chambers; her sisters, Stella Lynn Chambers and Debra Swanger; her maternal grandparents, Claude & Euna V. Lewis and her paternal grandparents, Lisle W. & Clara Chambers.
Denise is survived by her father, Robert Chambers of Gulfport; her sister, Donna (Sam) Estep of Gulfport; her brother, Denny Chambers of Woolmarket; her brother-in-law, Raymond Swanger, I of Gulfport; her former sister-in-law, Tonya Chambers of Gulfport and several nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 11:00am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach.
