Deloris Davis

Deloris Evelyn Fore Davis, age 84 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Thursday, October 30, 2008, in Wiggins.
Mrs. Davis was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was a member of the Baptist faith. She was also a lifetime member of the DAV Auxuillary of Gulfport.
Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Chester & Nancy Davis Fore; her brothers, Hyman Fore, Jack Fore, and Lonnie Fore; her sisters, Claudia Ryan, Fredonia Bond, and Theda Newbill.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John A. Davis, Sr. of Gulfport; her children, John """"Jackie"""" A. & Cora Davis, Jr., of McHenry, Sandra E. Davis & Richard Allen of Melissa, TX, Jeff A. & Cindy Davis of Zions Crossroads, VA, Jeffrey A. & April Davis of Gulfport, and Melanie F. Davis Fitts of Gulfport; her brothers, C.H. Fore of McHenry and Curtis Fore of New Mexico; her sisters, Joyce & George Beall & Bernice & Howard Daughrill all of Carnes and Patsy & Marshall Killcrease of Texas; 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008, at 12:30 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 49 North in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
