DeLores Ann (Cuevas) Mason, age 82, resident of Biloxi, passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2022.
Ms. Mason was born in Harrison County to LeVander Cuevas, Sr. and Elizabeth Sims Cuevas. She was a graduate of Pass Christian High School and was a graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where she obtained an Associate Degree of Nursing. She later earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan - Flint. She enjoyed sports and was an avid bicycler, golfer, and tennis player. She also enjoyed gardening and collecting Pati Bannister artwork.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Tonya Barrett; her parents; and her siblings, LeVander Cuevas Jr., Lydia Cuevas, Mary Elizabeth Brogdon, and Ronald Cuevas.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Mason and his wife Lisa, and Stephen Mason and his wife Joanne; her grandchildren, Sean Mason and Jonathan Mason; her sister, Pauline Cuevas; and an extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 24, 2022, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM and entombment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the care and concern shown to their mother by those at St. Joseph Hospice in Gulfport and the Blake in Biloxi.
