Delores Ann Crutcher Alexander

Delores Ann Crutcher Alexander, age 85, of Pass Christian, MS passed away December 29, 2024, in Gulfport, MS.

She was preceded in death by parents, Robert Crutcher and Linnie Hartsell Muesall; husband, Salvador David Alexander; one brother, Edward Muesall; children, Leonard Allen, Carol Allen, Diane Allen, and Terry Gilmore. 

Delores was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Robert and Linnie Crutcher. Delores was married for 52 years to Salvador David Alexander, and they resided in Long Beach, MS where they raised 11 children. In 1984 they moved to Pass Christian, MS where they built their home on the Wolf River. She enjoyed listening to country music and loved to Jitta Bug. Delores also loved decorating dinner napkins. In between taking care of kids and the household, she drove special needs children to and from school. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Anyone that knew her would know that when you walked into her house, she would try to feed you. Delores will be deeply missed.

She leaves her cherished memories to her children, Tammy Townsend, Mark Alexander (Sherry), Dale Alexander, Rhonda Alexander, Patricia Dubuission, Penny Brown (Erik), and Vicki Alexander; her lifelong best friends, Rena Davis and Lela Allen; 18 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

The family would love to thank all the family and friends for their love and support. They also would love to give a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Singing River Gulfport and to St. Joseph Hospice in Gulfport for all the special care they gave to our mother.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Friday, January 3, 2025, at Allen Cemetery in Long Beach, MS. Riemann Family Long Beach is assisting the family with the services.
