Delbert Norman

Delbert "Del" Norman, age 63, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017.
Del's mother helped shape his life by instilling in him the virtues of Jesus and church, integrity, good will, and ethics. She was a witness to him about the meaning of life and marriage.
Del worked as a carpenter most of his life and was very proud of his pressure washing and carpet cleaning business. He was an avid reader and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Del was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Booth Norman, Sr. and Dimple Christine Norman.
Del is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teresa Maureen Norman of Gulfport; his children, Travis Norman (Rachel Deo Campo) of Gulfport and Brianne Norman Markley (Carl) of Martin, OH; his siblings, Collie Norman of Denver, CO, Linda Norman Ricci (Paul) of Sandusky, OH, and Sandy Norman Roth of Clyde, OH; his brother-in-law, Donald J. Randall (Joy) of Maryville, TN; and 3 grandchildren, Reghan, Norah, and Jinelle "Jini" Markley of Martin, OH.
The visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Mitchell - Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, Ohio. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM with a visitation from 1:00 PM until the service at Christ Church, 11477 Old Hwy 49, Gulfport.
