Debra Spayde

Debra Lee Tschetter Spayde, age 60 of Long Beach, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Debbie lived most of her life on the coast and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a 1980 graduate of Long Beach High School and attended MGCCC. Debbie loved spending time and playing games with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She truly enjoyed her dogs, Snuggles and Angel.  Debbie retired from People’s Bank after a successful career in banking and served as a member of the MS Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce. Before her retirement Debbie loved the coast Mardi Gras season, riding and attending many local parades over the years. Debbie was a strong and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her strength and perseverance.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Wesley “Wes” Tucker; and her mother, Dawn Tucker.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick “Ricky” Spayde; two sons, Dustin (Emily) Spayde and Devin (Ali) Spayde; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ruth, and Caleb; her father, Burdis (Juanita) Tschetter; her stepmother, Cissy Tucker; her sister, Sherri (David) Brosky; her brother, Jason (Stephanie) Tucker; her stepbrothers, stepsisters, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society via www.nationalmssociety.org or your favorite charity.

A reception will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.
