Debby graduated from Gulfport High School in 1973 and Texas State Technical Institute in Waco in 1988.

Despite her diagnosis with polio as a child, Debby did not let her disability prevent her from pursuing anything that she wanted to do. She graduated high school and continued her education to obtain an associate degree in horticulture. She had a green thumb and loved all things plants. She enjoyed cooking, drawing, sewing, baking, paints, and more. She was the epitome of strength and love. She loved her family deeply. Her friends became her family too. She was always so welcoming and friendly to all. She was kind, supportive, resilient, loving and goofy. She had a hippy soul and the greatest sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Riemann Family funeral Home, Gulfport, is honored to serve the Bennett family.
